How can I get started in carpentry? | |
After 3 degrees and 10 years spent building a computer-based career, I'm leaving this career to get into carpentry.
My wife got a great job that gives us the financial freedom for me to take the paycut.
How should I get started?

1You might find a carpenter who would let you work as an apprentice. That's how I did it when I was younger.

the council is the best place to start they will take u on as an apprentice

start by buyingbooks by les goring or peter brett.study hard and get knowledgeable.get some basic tools and practice.some colleges do evening courses which is good to get a qualification ,also tack a chance and go out on site ,if you get kicked of at least you got some experience,then keep trying
